Two reclaimers can simultaneously reclaim coal from two more piles
to be conveyed to the other outbound silo (SS2) at a proportional rate.
DTA has two outbound silos referred to as SS-2
and SS-3. The coals from both outbound silos are blended together
using 4 vibrating feeders under each silo. Programmable Logic
Controllers adjust flow rates from the two outbound silos depending on
the blend rates requested by the customer and the actual readings from
the electronic belt scales.
This computerized blending provides highly accurate and
consistently homogeneous blending to help assure quality throughout the loading.
