Effective April 1, 2012 Dominion Terminal Associates will make the following changes in dockage fee charges: 

SHIPS:

·        Effective April 1, 2012 vessel dockage fees will be increased to $0.50 per GRT for the first 24 hours. For time exceeding 24 hours, the charge will be at the same rate, but prorated for each hour or part thereof (i.e. $0.02083 per GRT per hour or part of an hour).

·        Agents for ships shall deposit with DTA a check, drawn on a U.S. bank, in the amount of the 24 hour fee ($0.50 per GRT) prior to commencement of loading or discharge. In its sole discretion, DTA may accept a written guarantee of payment from the agent.

·        All other provisions for ships currently in effect remain in effect.

BARGES:

Effective April 1, 2012 barge dockage fees will be increased to $0.25 per GRT for the first 12 hours and $0.02083 per GRT per hour or part of an hour.
